1st Line Technician

Salary: Based on experience

Overview: Join our Customer Helpdesk and Support Team to provide remote IT support for SME customers, with occasional onsite project support.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond and resolve support requests within SLA and customer expectations.
  • Provide phone-based and hands-on technical/desktop support.
  • Manage support requests with clear, accurate documentation.
  • Maintain customer communication throughout support request lifecycle.
  • Liaise with third parties as needed.
  • Produce and maintain support and customer documentation.

Skills Required:

  • Experience in technical support, particularly IT infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of PC Desktop Systems, Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, Windows Server, Active Directory, and IT infrastructure (networks, email systems).
  • Preferred: 1+ year of technical support experience, knowledge of Office 365, Cloud-based IT solutions, and a desire for continuous improvement.

Personal Qualities:

  • Professional, proactive attitude with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team, handle pressure, and demonstrate structured, quality-focused work.
  • Willingness to travel as needed and a keen interest in technology.
  • Desire to achieve Microsoft accreditation with our support.

Candidates must be self-motivated and capable of dealing with ambiguity and interacting with people at all levels.
